50 best places in ottawa






Eat
Restaurant/bars
- El Camino: for the best tacos and margaritas
- Common Eatery: they have the coolest drinks ever
- Tomo: poke bowls, good sushi, pretty bathroom
- Atari: more great creative drinks plus on a rooftop
- Pure Kitchen: if you wanna eat clean and have delicious vegetarian food
- Warehouse: cheap hearty bar food ($6 for everything on the menu)
- May's Garden: for bomb real chinese food
- Koreana: for all you can eat amazing korean bbq
- Sidedoor contemporary kitchen and bar
- Pub Chelsea is my favourite place hands down (technically it's across the bridge over in Chelsea but it's worth the drive)

I know, I know there are so many good restaurants but this is my round up for now.

Café/sweet shops
- Raw Pulp + Grind: for colourful açai bowls and good juice cleanses
- Headquarters café: they have the most beautiful and gourmet foods (like their cheese boards) plus it's a chic hair salon as well
- Art is in bakery: top notch baked goods and you gotta try their kronut
- Sharetea: for some bubble tea
- Alice's Village café: real cute and they have amazing carrot cake
- Beavertails shack: delicious true Canadian pastries
- Cafe 55: apparently Angeline Jolie likes this cafe in the U.S
- Oh so Good cake café: enough said
- La Bottega Italian cafe and family owned store: eat in, take out, cooking and wine classes
- Matovani gelato: they have the best ice cream

See
- Landsdowne Cineplex: to catch a good movie
- Parliment hill: I guess it is pretty cool
- Sunset at Major's Hill park: so peaceful and beautiful
- National Gallery of Canada: it's free on Thursdays and there's a big spider sculpture to greet you
- Museum of nature: I spent my childhood exploring the dinosaur exhibit
- Rideau canal: walk along it at night time cause it's so pretty
- Byward market: walk around and look at everything it offers
- Canadian museum of history: go hangout in the "kids museum" cause they give you a passport and you can "travel around the world" by going through all their different country exhibits
- Light show on Parliament hill: the city puts on a gorgeous light show on the Parliament buildings
- The new Ottawa art gallery (not the national gallery but a new one)

Do
- The Loft: a cute games café with the best food
- Gatineau park: perfect place to go hiking (I like the pink lake trail)
- Nordik spa nature: the ultimate relaxation experience where you feel like you're away on vacay
- Dow's lake: go kayaking, canoeing or paddle boarding on a hot day
- Spinco: consider it our city's soul cycle, they offer amazing fun spin classes
- Laflèche Arbraska: great place for ziplining
- Yoga on Parliament hill: it's fun, free and so refreshing (every Wednesday at 12)
-  Centretown outdoor film festival: what's cuter than an outdoor movie with right under the stars
- Landsdowne farmer's market: fresh local fruits and vegetables is the best kinda Sunday
- Westboro beach: spend a day at the beach soaking up vitamin d

Shop
- Lululemon Westboro: that's right I mean the og first Lululemon in Ottawa
- All Books: an adorable book store (we still have those) up on Rideu street
- Milk boutique: a cute local shop in the Byward market with clothes, jewelry, candles and more
- Urban outfitters: go take a picture in the photo booth do it
- Common girl: they moved it from Elgin street to the mall now
- Ragtime: go to get the best Levi's
- The Cupcake Lounge: to shop for the prettiest cupcakes and sweets
- teastore: if you want to update you tea collection
- Zone maison: a gorgeous home shop
- The Modern shop: when I get my own apartment I want every things from here
