how i handle anxiety


Everyone gets anxious. Everyone has anxiety. We're human so it's completely normal. Whether you deal with it once in awhile or if it's an everyday battle, people tend not to talk about it ever. I struggle with anxiety all the time and these are my tricks to help:


1. Spend time with people you love and trust. Whenever I feel down, I like to surround myself with people who bring really good energy who can re-charge me.
2. Open up about what you're feeling and thinking - let it all out, don't hold it in.
3. Drink lots of water. It's good for your skin too.
4. Keep your body active. Go for a walk, do yoga, a spin class, a boxing class. If I feel good physically, my mind tends to follow too. This is a huge stress reliever.
5. Clean and organize things. Whether it's my room, closet, office or camera roll, this always helps me feel less anxious/stressed. I just channel my Marie Kondo and I always tend to feel better after. Something about having a clean space brings a clean mindset.
6. Music music music. I'm listening to music literally 80% of my day. This is a huge one that always helps calm my anxiety. My favourite albums at the moment are don't smile at me by Billie Eilish and CASE STUDY 01 by Daniel Caesar who's my absolute favourite.
